About Cappadocia: This region was formed 60 million years ago by the erosion of soft layers created by the lava and ash erupted from Mount Erciyes, Mount Hasandağı, and Mount Göllüdağ, over millions of years by rain and wind.
About the Valley of Swords: After passing Gorkündere, Zemi Valley, and the Open-Air Museum, the second part of Göreme, the Kılıçlar Valley, begins. It is 15 minutes from Göreme center and 7 km from Ortahisar. Starting from the point where the Open-Air Museum is located, the Kılıçlar Valley continues to the town of Çavuşin.
Where is the Valley of Swords? Starting from the Göreme Open Air Museum, Kılıçlar Valley is one of the most central valleys of Cappadocia. Bounded by the Göreme Open Air Museum on one side and the Güllüdere Valley on the other, the valley has a total length of approximately 3 kilometers. The Valley of Swords is one of the most beautiful valleys in Göreme. It is also the valley from which hot air balloons take off in Cappadocia. A tunnel reaching 30 meters in length, fairy chimneys of various structures, and old churches are located within the valley. The dovecotes and beehives still in use add a unique atmosphere to the Valley of Swords. While the valley narrows in places, following the Swords Stream, which gives the valley its name, leads to a small canyon consisting of long, closely spaced walls. Our Cappadocia ATV tours are conducted on the secondary roads between these routes. Touring the entire valley by ATV takes approximately 1 hour. The historical ruins of the Girls' Monastery within the valley are one of the most exciting points of interest on the ATV tour. If you want to participate in longer ATV tours, you can extend your tour to a 2-hour route consisting of the Valley of Love and the White Valleys by consulting with guides. You can stop at stalls selling freshly squeezed pomegranate and orange juice, which have a doping effect, within the valley. In Cappadocia, hot air balloons generally take off from the Valley of Swords. Each balloon company has its own take-off area within the Valley of Swords. Balloons take off from these areas. The balloon take-off areas may change depending on the wind direction, but the balloons return to the Valley of Swords depending on the wind direction.
During our ATV tour, you can follow hot air balloons and see their launch sites and flight times. You can take photos with the hot air balloons during the breaks we will make during the tour. The ATV rest stops consist of places where hot air balloons can be seen at their best.

The Cappadocia sunrise ATV tour starts 30 minutes before sunrise. The ATV tour begins with the first rays of the sun. At the same time, preparations for take-off in the hot air balloons begin. Our sunrise ATV tours run throughout the year.
In Cappadocia, hot air balloons may not always take off due to strong winds. In windy conditions, balloon tours can be cancelled a day in advance, or even just minutes before takeoff. In such a case, the hot air balloons will not take off, and we will have to continue our sunrise ATV tours without the sight of the balloons. However, the ATV tour is not cancelled if the balloons don't take off; our sunrise ATV tour will still continue. Our company is not responsible for any issues arising from the balloons not taking off. No refunds or tour cancellations can be requested.
You can join our Cappadocia sunrise ATV tours by filling out the reservation form. Each ATV seats 2 people. The price shown in the reservation form is for 1 ATV. When selecting participants, please choose the number of ATVs, considering the number of ATVs required.
Each ATV is for two people. The prices given for ATV tours are for the vehicle only. Tours are group tours. Private tour options are available.
Participants under the age of 17 can join our Cappadocia sunrise ATV tours accompanied by a guardian. Children under the age of 10 cannot participate in ATV tours. Only those over 18 years of age can operate the ATVs. Drivers may be required to present a Class B driver's license and identification.
In our Cappadocia sunrise ATV tours, only those over 18 years of age can operate the ATVs. A driver's license is not required for our ATV tours. If a participant meets all the requirements but is unable to operate the ATVs or experiences safety concerns, their tour may be cancelled. No refunds will be given.
In Cappadocia, mornings can be cold even in summer. Therefore, you should dress appropriately for the season to prevent you from getting cold. Comfortable clothing suitable for the season is appropriate for ATV tours. Mini skirts, shorts, and high heels are not suitable for ATV tours. Also, long scarves, neck warmers, and clothing that could get caught in the engine compartment are not suitable. In winter, it is recommended to wear gloves and a hat.
Due to regulations and laws, renting ATVs individually is prohibited. You can only participate in tours accompanied by a guide.
Sunrise ATV tours last approximately 1.5 hours. Depending on the road and tour speed, there may be delays of up to 10 minutes before or after the tour. Participants should be aware of this before joining the tour. In cases of early or late arrivals, participants cannot request refunds for minutes or fees.
If you're joining our ATV tours in Cappadocia, using ATVs isn't difficult. With a short briefing and test drive, you too can learn to ride an ATV. Our Cappadocia ATV tours are suitable for amateur riders. ATVs operate using a gas-brake system; there are no gear changes.
Guests participating in our Cappadocia ATV tours must abide by the ATV tour rules.
During the ATV tour, the ATVs move in a single file. You must not leave your assigned position on the ATV during the tour.
During an ATV tour, you need to follow the ATV in front of you or the tour leader.
Drifting or attempting to ride on two wheels while touring with an ATV is prohibited.
Disturbing other participants is prohibited during the ATV tour.
Participants who do not comply with the tour rules or heed warnings during the tour will have their tours cancelled and will not receive a refund.
Tour leaders determine the cruising speed of the ATVs during the tours. Participants are required to adhere to the designated ATV cruising speed. Participants who fail to comply with the speed will have their ATV tour cancelled, and no refund will be given.
