Taegeuk Oh Jang: Techniques focusing on speed, power, and balance. Taegeuk Yuk Jang: More complex movements and techniques requiring coordination. Each belt indicates the student's technical skills, knowledge level, and progress in Taekwondo. Belts are generally divided into two main categories: colored belts (Gup) and black belts (Dan). Taekwondo Belts (Groups): White Belt (10th Group)
For beginners. Basic stances, blocks, and simple striking techniques. Yellow Belt (Groups 9 and 8)
Development of basic techniques. Learning the first poomse (Taegeuk Il Jang). Simple combinations and movements. Green Belt (7th and 6th Group)
