4. Familiarizing yourself with horse equipment. Attaching and removing horse equipment.
5. Approaching the horse. Leading, holding, and releasing the horse. Preparing the horse for riding. Using safety equipment. Identifying and using riding aids.
6. Mounting a horse. Dismounting. Guiding the horse with the reins. Walking, stopping, and turning on horseback.
7. Guiding the horse using the heel. Communication with horses through voice. Guiding the horse through voice communication.
8. The horse was performing light, brisk, almost a collective gallop.
