Lycian Way Canoe Tour 3 Days

Day 1: Kekova - Üçağız Bay

We will arrive in the Kekova region in the morning and begin our canoe tour from there. We will cruise around Kekova Island and see the sunken city ruins. Around noon, we will arrive at Üçağız Bay and set up camp. Üçağız is located in the Kekova region, one of Türkiye's rare places. Simena Kaleköy is very close to Üçağız, and if you go parallel to the coast towards Kaş, you will find Aperlai and the sunken city on Kekova Island. It is also adjacent to Gökkaya Bay in the parts towards Demre. When we arrive at Üçağız, we can find all the beauties of Kekova in one place. This region also contains ancient Lycian rock tombs and historical ruins.

We will end our first day here, try out the tents that have been set up for us beforehand, and enjoy dinner.

Day 2: Demre - Andriake Port

On the second day, we will wake up to a morning of camping amidst natural beauty and have breakfast prepared for us at the campsite. Our canoe route will continue towards Demre on the second day. After approximately 2-3 hours of sea travel, we will disembark in Demre and visit St. Nicholas Church and the ruins of the ancient city of Myra. In the afternoon, we will continue our canoe trip to Andriake Harbor. Here, we will explore the ruins of the ancient city, taking a long journey through history. In the evening, our camp will be set up around Andriake Harbor. Our tents will be already set up for us when we arrive at the campsite. We will have dinner and relax around the campfire, enjoying the beauty of the sea and nature.

Day 3: Finike - Limyra Ancient City

After breakfast at the camp, on the third day we will continue our route towards Finike by canoe. After exploring the Finike coast, we will visit the ancient city of Limyra. This ancient city is famous for its historical theater and monumental tombs. In the afternoon, we will continue from the Finike coast towards Boldağ. And we will end our tour on this route.

Number of Participants:

Canoes are for 1 or 2 people.
Private tours can be arranged for groups of 4 or more people.
When there are 4 or fewer participants, the tour fee is divided among the number of participants.
This tour can be organized as a corporate tour for established companies.

Accomodation:

The camp includes a two-night stay.
The tents are for two people.
Participants can stay in a single-person tent by paying a supplementary fee.
The campsite offers showers, toilets (WC), and Wi-Fi facilities.

Meals:

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included in the price as set meals.
Drinks (except water) are subject to an extra charge.

Language:

The tour is conducted in Turkish and English.
Language options can be added for 5 or more participants.

Canoe tours can involve challenging sea and land conditions. During the tour, you may encounter natural elements such as mud, rain, and water. Canoes are equipped with the necessary tools, equipment, and communication devices depending on the natural and road conditions.
A land-based logistics support vehicle follows the canoe team throughout the tour. It provides assistance, support, and logistical support when needed.
Throughout the journey, you can see national parks, unique local wildlife, forests, seas, and mountains. The roads run parallel to the coast, continuing with views of forests, national parks, and mountains.
Varying weather conditions are possible throughout the tour. Possible weather conditions include sun, rain, and wind.
Participants work as a team to be able to navigate in sea conditions.

Canoeing Tools and Equipment: Single and double-person sea kayaks are used for the journey. The kayaks carry luggage, and essential supplies are transported along the sea in the kayaks. Other necessary supplies are kept in a logistics vehicle that travels parallel to the sea.
