The valley also contains numerous ancient churches, one of which is the historical site known as the Girls' Monastery, dating back to the 9th century.

Güllü Valley is a valley located in Göreme, Cappadocia, bordering Kılıçlar Valley, Kızılçukur Valley, and Meskendir Valley. The valley is situated within a steep canyon. While lush green in the summer, a small stream flows through it during certain months of the year. Containing numerous churches and tunnels, some of which can be traversed by horse, the valley is a historical church built entirely by hand within Güllü Valley. It gets its name from its massive columned structure. On our day trip by horse, you will have the opportunity to explore Güllü Valley from end to end on horseback and visit the Kolonlu Church.

After passing through Güllü Valley on horseback, we are greeted by Kızılçukur Valley. The soil in Kızılçukur Valley has a reddish color due to iron oxide. The Crusader Church complex, begun in the 6th century, is a completely hand-built church with a large cross carved into its ceiling. After a break here, we will have the opportunity to enjoy some freshly squeezed orange juice.
