Horse Power Supplementary Mash Feed
This is a high-calorie feed. The raw materials it contains, such as barley, corn, and oats, are crushed using steam treatment. This process causes the starch to gelatinize. Gelatinized starch improves digestibility in horses. The addition of fruits and molasses enhances the feed's palatability. Thanks to the high-quality protein containing amino acids like lysine and methionine, and the easily digestible fiber sources, it promotes healthy digestive function. It is an energy-rich feed with a balanced content of protein, minerals, and vitamins.
When is it used?
It is ideal for weight gain in weak horses, for racehorses going up for sale, and for horses that are tired, recovering, or undergoing intense training.
Usage Recommendation
• It can be given to horses dry or moistened. If moistened, 2 kilograms of feed are mixed with 1.5 liters of hot water, left for 10 minutes, and then given to the horses.
• It should be given in amounts of 0.8 kg – 1.5 kg per 100 kg of live weight.
• Due to its high starch content, provide your horse with 1.5 kg of high-quality roughage for every 100 kg of body weight.
