President of the Athletics Federation (2024-2028 Term)
Dr. Ahmet Karadağ was born in Istanbul on March 26, 1966. He began his education at Galatasaray High School and graduated from Istanbul University Çapa Faculty of Medicine in 1991. He started his medical career as a doctor in the Ministry of Health and the Naval Forces Command, and completed his specialization in General Surgery at GATA (Gülhane Military Medical Academy) in 2000. After retiring as a General Surgery Specialist from the Naval Forces Command in 2010, he continued to work as Chief Physician and General Surgery Specialist at FSM Kavacık Surgical Medical Center. He also conducts scientific studies with Marmara University School of Physical Education and Sports. He is the President of the Turkish Athletics Federation (2024-2028 term).
