Horse Power Supplementary Mare Feed
This feed is formulated to enable breeding mares to nourish their foals during pregnancy, give birth healthily, produce sufficient milk during lactation, and be ready to mate again. It is also designed to meet all the nutritional needs of the foals growing alongside the mares. Thanks to its high-quality protein containing amino acids such as lysine and methionine, and its easily digestible fiber sources, it promotes healthy digestive function. It is an energy-rich feed with a balanced content of protein, minerals, and vitamins. Vitamin E strengthens the immune system.
When is it used?
It is used during the period from pregnancy of the mares until the foal is separated from its mother after birth.
Usage Recommendation
• For breeding mares, live weight, gestation period, and lactation alter the amount of feed used.
• On average, 0.8 kg per 100 kg is considered acceptable. However, in areas where pasture is insufficient, it is recommended to increase this to 1.2 kg.
• It is recommended to give 0.5 – 1 kg in addition to the normal ration to foals.
• When feeding Horse Power Stud Feed, there is no need to add any other feed supplements.
• If you are switching from another feed to Horse Power Supplementary Stud Feed, the transition should be gradual.
